The show is this Sunday, and there will be over 200 vendors selling everything from Albino Pythons to leopard Geckos. There will also be many plants, and terrarium supplies for sale. It is one of the biggest expos in the northeast, and it only occurs once every 2 – 3 months! Doors open at 10 am and close at 4 pm. It is accessible from the MetroNorth (on 125th Street), and it is a short walk from the White Plains Stop. Most vendors sell their stock at 50 percent less than retail stores or more! Bargaining is also allowed, since this is a one on one transaction with the growers, and they are eager to sell their stuff!
Cover charge is 10 dollars.

The story: Classically trained Greenpoint jeweler Randi Mates uses bronze, silver, gold, Herkimer diamonds, rough agate, quartz slabs and pyrite to stunning effect. “I am constantly looking at nature,” says Mates. “I love the way pavement cracks over time, antique botanical specimens, the burnished gleam of a wooden handrail.… Time and its effects fascinate me.”
